Recession hits close to home?

So i just got the much dreaded 'utilization' email from my MD. What that usually means is "Find work within X weeks or we're going to have to let you go." Well, i'm assuming that's what it means even tho' i've only been without work for barely 2 weeks [we have a conference call scheduled for tomorrow morning]. They haven't been doing so great financially, my company i.e. so it doesn't come as a shock to me.

I can only pray that something comes through or happens and fast too. I've been here before. I got a mandatory 2weeks notice sometime in the summer last year but at the 11th hour something came through. May God shows his favor to me this time too. Faith don't fail me now!!

This definitely isn't a good time to be on the bench. I understand their need to terminate folks. I also know my MD will try to do what he can before he has to make that phone call so i can't be too upset about it.

And to think i just got an email telling me i'm due for a new laptop and it was being shipped to my home office. I guess they can hold on to it lol...Na waya!!

I HATE interviews sha chei!! Absolutely, positively Hate them. It looks like i might have to get on the grind again. Actually, it looks like i have to re-take some crash courses first lol

I had said maybe i should take sometime off and go home for a month if it so happens that i will be out of a job. Hmmm i don't know...we'll see how it all pans out.

LOL and i just used up one of my savings for some family stuvvs...God is on the throne. They say he doesn't give us more than we can carry. And his grace won't take us to where he cant keep us. Getting this job was some miracle in the first place so what will be will be.

Hmmm and i'm thinking of cutting my hair :think:...don't want to come across as *power to the people* on interviews... even tho my president is Black...lol. Ah well make we dey look.
